The Family and Child Life Services team at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital works to create the best possible experience for patients and families through individualized assessment, intervention, education, and advocacy. This multidisciplinary group includes child life specialists, assistants, art and music therapists, school teachers, horticultural therapist and the Angie’s Garden rooftop team. Together, they help children and families better navigate the challenges of hospitalization.

Because these essential services are not reimbursed by insurance, philanthropic support is vital to sustaining their work and ensuring families receive compassionate, holistic care.
